I'm applying for the Data Internship role at Pellenford Analytics. Second-year economics student with a term of society treasurer work and two summers behind a till. You ask for Microsoft Excel, and that is work I have already done: Built the society's membership tracker in Microsoft Excel for 140 records.

I have worked as Treasurer at University Economics Society, 2025 — present. I have also worked as Sales Assistant at Corrymoor Hardware, 2024 — 2025. I ran data entry for a departmental survey of 300 responses. I also managed a society budget of 4 200 pounds and reported to 140 members.

I handled 60 customers a shift on a Saturday till with cash reconciliation. I also delivered a seminar presentation on housing data to 40 students. The posting asks for Microsoft Excel and Data Entry — both of which I've worked with directly. The posting also asks for Reporting, Python and Social Media Marketing, which I have not used in these roles.
