Questions

Do I need an account?

No. Nothing needs an account or an email. When you launch a portfolio you get an edit key, and that key opens your page for editing on any device.

What is the edit key?

A long code you get when you launch your portfolio. Whoever has it can edit that page on any device, at conxfolio.com/edit. We keep only a scrambled fingerprint of it, so we cannot see it or send it again. Save it the moment you get it: email it to yourself, download it, or keep it in your password manager. You also get a recovery code; keep that somewhere else.

What if I lose my key?

Use your recovery code: it makes a new key and a new code. If you added a recovery email when you launched, we can email you a new key. If you have neither, launch a new page in minutes from your résumé, and write to [email protected] to take the old one down.

What if someone else gets my key?

They could edit your page, but nothing else: no résumé, email or address is stored behind it. Change your key under My page and the old one stops working at once, or use your recovery code, which also locks them out. Your last five published versions are kept, so you can put your page back in one click. Keys are long and random, and wrong tries are blocked after a few attempts, so guessing one is not practical.

Is it really free?

Yes, with no cap on what you make: unlimited résumés, cover letters and ATS checks, unlimited PDF and Word downloads with no watermark, and a free portfolio launch at conxfolio.com/your-name. There is no trial and no paid tier.

Can I write a cover letter without a résumé?

Yes. Open the cover letter tool and choose to write your own. A résumé is optional; you can add one if you want help drafting from your experience.

What does the ATS review actually tell me?

It reviews extracted text, basic document structure, completeness and writing. You can inspect and correct the text it used. These checks do not predict hiring decisions or guarantee compatibility with every employer’s system.

Can I bring my existing résumé?

Yes. Upload a supported PDF or DOCX, review the extracted content, and correct the details before continuing. Complex layouts and scanned documents can need extra correction.

Where is my work saved?

In the browser you use. We do not store your résumés, letters or checks. To move your workspace to another device, download it as a file (Workspace, then Download workspace file) and open it there. A portfolio you launch lives at conxfolio.com and opens anywhere with its edit key.

Can I change designs after writing?

Yes. You can change the design in the editor and continue refining your content. Preview the final document before exporting.
