You ask for Adobe InDesign, and that is work I have already done: Reduced artwork turnaround from 9 days to 4 with a component library in Adobe InDesign.

I have worked as Senior Designer at Halbrook Studio, 2021 — present. I have also worked as Designer at Vantry & Poole, 2017 — 2021. I built the brand identity system for a food range across 240 packaging lines and 3 languages. I also rewrote the studio's print production checklist and cut reprint charges to zero over 2 years.

On Typography: Trained 4 junior designers on typography and press approval. On Product Photography: Art directed 14 photo shoots and delivered 1 800 assets to the client's own library. Mistakes that sink a graphic designer cover letter

The first is describing your style instead of the work and its results. The second is sending a letter with no portfolio link or a link that needs a password. The third is naming software as if it were the skill.

Point the reader to two portfolio pieces by name, and say what each achieved. The portfolio linking guide covers the address.

Two gaps came back: motion design and Figma. The posting says the digital team uses both, nothing in Beatrix's whole evidence list mentions either, so the letter claims neither and says so in one plain sentence.
