Conxfolio beside Enhancv

Their own pricing page lists Enhancv branding under the free plan and no branding under Pro. That single line is the clearest difference between the two products, and it is theirs, not ours.

— branding is the lever.

Enhancv is a design-led résumé builder with a strong visual identity and a free plan whose boundaries are published. One of those boundaries is unusually clear, and it is the reason this comparison is short and specific.

Their side comes from Enhancv's pricing page, read on 12 September 2026.

The line on their page

Their free plan is listed at €0, valid for 7 days, and its features include all resume templates, basic resume sections, access to all design tools, a maximum of 12 section items, and Enhancv branding. Under the Pro plan, the corresponding entry is No branding, alongside 300 resumes and cover letters, real-time content suggestions, an ATS check, pro resume sections and unlimited section items.

That pairing is the honest description of the model, written by them: the free document carries their name, and removing it is what the plan is for. It is a very common arrangement and there is nothing underhand about stating it on the pricing page, which is more than many do.

What this page will not tell you

Their prices. The figures did not render when their pricing page was read, and a number we could not read on the source's own page does not get printed on ours. Follow the link and read it yourself, which is the right way round for a price anyway, since prices change.

What an export from here carries

Nothing is drawn on the page. That was checked on the file rather than claimed: the exported PDF was run through a text extractor and searched for the brand name and for the words watermark, trial, upgrade and created with, and none of them appeared. The DOCX was opened as a zip and held three entries with no document-properties folder at all.

The one place the product's name does appear is the PDF's Creator and Producer metadata, which is the field every writing tool fills in. Saying so is more useful than claiming a file with no fingerprint. The full check, with the commands, is on the no-watermark page.

Where Enhancv fits

Their designs are distinctive and their content suggestions are the part people praise. If you have looked at both galleries and theirs is the one you want your work to sit in, that is a good enough reason on its own, and the Pro plan removes the branding that would otherwise make the free file awkward to send.

The seven-day free window is also honest about what it is. A trial that says it is a trial is better than a trial that pretends to be a plan.

Where this fits

If you want the file without a deadline, a document that is not capped at twelve section items, and a check that costs nothing and shows its working. And if you would rather no model wrote or scored anything, which here is architectural: the readers, the score and the letter are deterministic code, and the letter selects sentences from your own material rather than generating them.

Check both with the same document

Take whatever file each side gives you and run both through the checker, free and without an account. It reports what it read in words, lines and recognised headings, which is the quantity an employer's extractor works from. A design-led layout can read very differently from how it looks, and the format guide covers the habits that cause it.

Then look at both exported files for a mark. That is a thirty-second test and it settles the part of this comparison that matters at the moment you press send.

The twelve-item limit, in practice

Their page lists a maximum of twelve section items on the free plan. For a graduate that is rarely binding. For somebody with four roles, each carrying three or four achievement lines, plus education and skills, it is reached quickly, and the moment it binds is the moment the document starts getting good.

There is no equivalent ceiling here, which means the editing decision is a judgement about relevance rather than about a plan. The length guide and the guide on how far back to go cover that judgement, and the checker will tell you what the cuts cost, since evidence depth is one of the things it measures and prices.

Questions

Does Enhancv's free plan put branding on the résumé
Their own pricing page lists Enhancv branding among the free plan's features and no branding under the Pro plan. The link is on this page.
What else does their free plan list
Their page lists all resume templates, basic resume sections, access to all design tools, a maximum of 12 section items, and a duration of 7 days.
What does Pro cost
This page does not say, because the prices did not render on their pricing page when it was read on 12 September 2026. A figure we could not read on their own page is not printed here.
Is there branding on a Conxfolio export
Nothing is drawn on the page. The exported PDF was checked with a text extractor and contained no brand, watermark or trial string, and the DOCX carries no document properties at all. The PDF's Creator and Producer metadata name the application, the way a word processor does.
Is there a section limit here
No. Sections and entries are not metered, and the length of the document is your decision.
Does either use a language model
Their page describes AI-assisted tools including résumé checking and bullet point generation. Conxfolio calls no model anywhere.

Conxfolio is a free set of four career tools: a résumé builder with 37 rendered layouts, an ATS résumé checker that prints its own arithmetic, a cover letter builder that traces every proof paragraph back to the line it came from, and a portfolio builder with 20 authored designs. There is no account to create, nothing is held back for a paid plan, and no language model is used anywhere in the product, so the readers, the score and the letter are deterministic code you can check.
