A content strategist résumé example, including what it retired
One complete content strategist résumé, written out in full. The person is invented. The reading and the score come from the product itself.
— publishing more is easy. deciding what to delete is the job.

Content strategy is mostly the work of deciding what should not exist, and that is unusually hard to put on a page. This example is written out in full so you can read one attempt, then put through the tools here so you can see what a parser takes from it. The candidate is invented. Wilhelmina Osei-Ravensdale does not exist, neither employer exists, and every figure was chosen to demonstrate a shape.

The retirement line leads
Fourteen hundred pages audited, six hundred retired, support contacts down 19%. Deleting more than a third of a help centre is a decision somebody had to defend, and the support figure is the defence. It is the most persuasive thing on the page.
Organic entries to the help centre rising from 40 000 to 96 000 a month sits beside it, and the two together answer the obvious objection. Fewer pages and more arrivals is the whole argument for content strategy in two lines.
Governance is what outlasts you
A content model and governance used by five teams and thirty contributors. A style guide adopted across four products. Twenty writers and product managers trained on plain language. Each of those is a system rather than a deliverable, and systems are what a head of content is hiring for.
The research line keeps the page honest: eighteen usability sessions on content with fifty-four participants. Strategy that was tested with people is a different claim from strategy that was asserted in a deck.
What the reading found
The door on this page hands the document to the résumé builder as plain text, through the same import an uploaded file goes through, and the review shows each field beside the line it came from. Here the completeness pass found four readable sections, 96 words of experience evidence and ten distinct skills, with three languages in their own section.
No language model is used. The readers are deterministic functions with their own rules, and a string that cannot be found in the source is dropped and counted rather than kept.
What the checker scored it
Ninety-seven out of 100, with one improvement remaining worth 8 points. The arithmetic is 100 × 30% + 100 × 30% + 92 × 40% = 97, explained in the article on the score. Seven action-led lines, four of them measurable, seven lines of depth, and 168 readable words against a band opening at 250.
This is a short page for eight years of work, which is what happens when a career is summarised at the level of systems rather than projects. The ATS checker reports the volume gap and leaves the judgement to you.
What this example leaves off
No screenshots, no sitemap extracts and no list of every content management system touched. A head of content assumes the systems and reads the audit, the retirement count and the governance adoption.
Publishing volume is left off too. Pages produced is the metric this discipline exists to argue against, and putting it at the top of a content strategist's page undercuts everything below it.
What to change for your own
Change the estate. Marketing sites, help centres, product interfaces, policy libraries and intranets all use this shape with different owners. Then put in your own audit sizes, retirement counts, traffic changes and governance adoption.
Keep one line about something you removed. Keep the research sessions. The guide on experience bullets covers the construction, the design gallery holds 37 layouts, and the copywriter example, the UX designer example and the reporter example sit beside this one.

- Is Wilhelmina Osei-Ravensdale a real person
- No. She is invented for this page, and so are Duinvaart Health and Kaaigracht Software. The figures show a shape and describe nobody's career.
- What is the strongest content strategy line
- The audit. Fourteen hundred pages audited and six hundred retired, with support contacts down 19%, is a decision with a measured consequence, and very few strategists write the retirement down.
- Should interface copy work be on the same page
- Yes. Three hundred interface strings rewritten with failed sign-ups down 27% is the same discipline at a smaller scale, and it shows the candidate can work inside a product as well as around it.
- What did the checker score it
- 97 out of 100, with one improvement remaining worth 8 points. The document has 168 readable words, and the volume rule's top band opens at 250.
- Is governance worth a line
- It is the line that separates a strategist from a writer. A content model used by five teams and thirty contributors is a system that survives the person who built it.
- Which design is this rendered in
- Marginal, one of the 37 layouts and not one of the 21 marked ATS-safe. Check your own document with the checker before assuming a layout will cost you anything.
Conxfolio is a free set of four career tools: a résumé builder with 37 rendered layouts, an ATS résumé checker that prints its own arithmetic, a cover letter builder that traces every proof paragraph back to the line it came from, and a portfolio builder with 20 authored designs. There is no account to create, nothing is held back for a paid plan, and no language model is used anywhere in the product, so the readers, the score and the letter are deterministic code you can check.
