A free physiotherapist résumé example, with outcome measures on it
One complete physiotherapist résumé, written out in full. The person is invented. The reading and the score come from the product itself.
— caseload, outcome measure, waiting list.

Physiotherapy is one of the few clinical professions that records an outcome for almost every patient, and one of the few whose résumés rarely mention it. This example is written out in full so you can read what that changes, then put through the tools here so you can see what a parser stores. The candidate is invented.

Emeka Fairweather-Lindqvist
Physiotherapist
Gothenburg, Sweden · [email protected] · +46 31 555 0119
Summary
Physiotherapist with eight years in musculoskeletal clinics and sports rehabilitation, working on caseload, outcome measures and a discharge that holds. Carries 40 patients a week and 3 group rehabilitation classes each week.
Experience
Senior Physiotherapist · Kvillebacken Rehabilitation Centre, Gothenburg · 2021 to present
- Carried a caseload of 40 patients a week in musculoskeletal and post-surgical pathways and discharged 85% inside the planned course.
- Raised the proportion of patients meeting their outcome measure at discharge from 68% to 84% across 3 years of clinic data.
- Cut the waiting list from 11 weeks to 5 by introducing 3 group rehabilitation classes that took 24 patients every week.
- Supervised 5 students on clinical placement and 2 assistants, and passed every student at first attempt over 4 placement blocks.
- Rebuilt the triage questionnaire for 900 referrals a year and routed 30% of them to a class instead of individual treatment.
Physiotherapist · Halsingborg Sports Clinic, Helsingborg · 2019 to 2021
- Treated 30 athletes a week across 4 clubs and covered 2 pitch-side rotas for 240 sessions without a missed fixture.
- Reduced re-injury within 12 weeks of return to play from 19% to 9% across 2 seasons of the same squad.
- Delivered 45 injury prevention sessions to 300 players over 2 years and measured the effect on 4 squads against the previous season.
- Wrote the return to play protocol that 4 clubs adopted and applied it across 3 seasons and roughly 200 player assessments.
- Ran 2 rehabilitation classes a week for 16 patients and returned 12 of them to full training inside 10 weeks.
Rehabilitation Assistant · Kvillebacken Rehabilitation Centre, Gothenburg · 2017 to 2019
- Supported 3 physiotherapists through 60 appointments a week and prepared every treatment room and exercise plan before each clinic opened.
- Delivered 4 group exercise classes a week to 40 patients and recorded attendance and progress for every one of them.
- Managed the equipment inventory of 200 units across 2 gyms and cut replacement spend by 22% in a single financial year.
- Recorded 1 200 outcome measures a year for 400 patients and corrected 90 entries that would have skewed the annual report.
- Prepared 30 home exercise programmes a month with written illustrations and cut repeat telephone questions from the clinic by 40%.

Caseload first, outcome second
Forty outpatients a week across musculoskeletal and post-surgical pathways. The proportion meeting their outcome measure at discharge from 68% to 84%. Those two lines, in that order, place the candidate and then describe the quality of their work.
Order matters here more than most professions, because a high outcome rate on a caseload of twelve is a different claim from the same rate on a caseload of forty, and a clinical lead reads the second number against the first.
Service improvement is the senior line
A waiting list from eleven weeks to five, by introducing three group rehabilitation classes. That is a decision with a clinical rationale and a measurable effect, and it separates a senior physiotherapist from an experienced one.
The sports block carries the other kind of evidence: re-injury within twelve weeks of return to play down from 19% to 9%, and a return to play protocol adopted by four clubs for three seasons. Adoption and durability are results, and they are worth a line each.
Skills for a physiotherapist résumé, grouped
Emeka's skills group into assessment, treatment and practice. Assessment: musculoskeletal assessment, clinical reasoning, outcome measures, return to play testing. Treatment: manual therapy, exercise prescription, sports rehabilitation, group classes. Practice: student supervision, electronic patient records. A clinical lead reads the outcome measures item as proof you track what works.
Neurological, respiratory and paediatric physiotherapists group around their own caseloads. The free résumé builder lets you rename groups to fit your specialty and reorder them for each application.
From rehabilitation assistant to senior physiotherapist
A rehabilitation assistant's résumé proves support work done well: sessions delivered under supervision, equipment prepared, patients encouraged back. Emeka's first role shows it. A physiotherapist adds caseload, outcomes and the conditions treated.
Senior lines add service improvement and supervision: a pathway redesigned, waiting times cut, students supervised. Put caseload first and outcome second, so the reader sees both size and quality. The certifications guide covers professional registration.
How it reads and scores
The import review read three dated roles with five achievement lines under each, one degree, ten skills, three languages and two certifications, the registration among them. The ATS checker scored it 98 out of 100, re-measured on 25 September 2026, with readable volume 3 points short and achievement quality 1 point short: 100 × 30% for parseability, 100 × 30% for completeness and 96 × 40% for content. The writing check scored it 95, which is 91 of the 96 points that applied here, and the five points it withheld went to one rule. The same check runs on every example; the method is described here.
What this example leaves off
No patient stories, no named athletes and no before and after case studies. A clinical lead reads an outcome rate across a caseload as evidence and a single dramatic recovery as an anecdote, and in sport a named athlete is usually a confidentiality problem as well.
Long lists of treatment techniques are left off as well. Naming ten modalities describes a course brochure. The outcome measure, the waiting list and the re-injury rate describe a physiotherapist.
What to change for your own
Change the pathway. Neurology, respiratory, paediatrics, older people's services and occupational health all use this shape with different outcome measures. Then put your own caseload, outcome rate, waiting list and supervision figures in.
Keep registration with its year. Keep one service improvement line. The design gallery holds 37 layouts, and the dental hygienist example, the laboratory technician example and the civil engineer example show the same structure in other work.

- Is Emeka Fairweather-Lindqvist a real physiotherapist
- No. The person is invented for this page, and so are Kvillebacken Rehabilitation Centre and Halsingborg Sports Clinic. The figures show a shape and describe nobody.
- Is an outcome measure figure usable on a résumé
- If your service records it, yes. The proportion of patients meeting their outcome measure at discharge is the cleanest evidence a physiotherapist has, and it names no patient.
- What about the waiting list
- A waiting list cut from eleven weeks to five by introducing three group classes is a service improvement, and it is the line a clinical lead will ask about at interview.
- What did the checker score it
- 98 out of 100, re-measured on 25 September 2026, with readable volume 3 points short and achievement quality 1 point short. The arithmetic is 100 × 30% for parseability + 100 × 30% for completeness + 96 × 40% for content. The writing check beside it scored 95, which is 91 of the 96 points that applied, and the 431 readable words clear the volume rule's full band at 250.
- Should sports work stay on a musculoskeletal application
- Yes. Pitch-side rotas, re-injury rates and return to play protocols are the same clinical reasoning under time pressure, and a rehabilitation service reads them as an asset.
- Which design is this rendered in
- Placard, one of the eight layouts shown as the ATS family. The eight were chosen on 2026-09-14 from a measurement of all 37 designs: each one exports a PDF whose text layer scores exactly what the pasted text scores, on both test documents, in one column, with the reading order kept and no graphics. It is a light, chip-labelled page that still extracts as a single clean column.
Conxfolio is a free set of four career tools: a résumé builder with 37 rendered layouts, an ATS résumé checker that prints its own arithmetic, a cover letter builder that traces every proof paragraph back to the line it came from, and a portfolio builder with 22 authored designs. There is no account to create, nothing is held back for a paid plan, and no language model is used anywhere in the product, so the readers, the score and the letter are deterministic code you can check.
