An executive assistant résumé example, board papers included

One complete executive assistant résumé, written out in full. The person is invented. The reading and the score come from the product itself.

— who you supported, how many, across how many time zones.

An executive assistant's work is confidential, constant and almost impossible to describe without naming somebody. This example is written out in full so you can read one that manages it, then put through the tools here so you can see what a parser stores. The candidate is invented. Aurelio Pemberton-Nkosi does not exist, neither employer exists, and every figure was chosen to demonstrate a shape.

Who, how many, how far

One chief executive, four time zones, ninety trips a year. Three partners, 400 client meetings a year. Those lines answer the first question a hiring manager has, which is what level this person has worked at and at what intensity.

Time zones are worth stating explicitly. A diary held across four of them is a different job from a diary held in one city, and anybody who has done it knows the difference is measured in evenings.

Board work and the commercial lines

Eight board meetings a year with papers for eleven directors. Travel spend down 17% after three agreements were renegotiated. Two assistants and a reception team of four supervised. The first is trust, the second is commercial, and the third is management.

Building a process that twenty people still use is the fourth kind of evidence, and it sits in the earlier role where it belongs. An assistant who leaves a working process behind has done something that outlasts the relationship.

What the reading found

The door below hands the document to the résumé builder as plain text, through the same import an uploaded file goes through, and the review shows each field beside the line it came from. Here the completeness pass found four readable sections, 102 words of experience evidence and ten distinct skills, with three languages in their own section.

The real import review, opened by this page's own door. It names Aurelio Pemberton-Nkosi as invented before anything is saved, and it shows every field beside the line it came from.

Nothing in that reading uses a language model. Every string a reader emits is checked in code to be a span of your document, which matters on a page whose value is partly in what it does not say.

What the checker scored it

The same import review on a 390 pixel phone screen, with the example notice above the accept button
The same door on a phone. Nothing is withheld on the small screen: the notice, the reading and the accept button are all there.

Ninety-seven out of 100, with one improvement remaining worth 8 points. The arithmetic is 100 × 30% + 100 × 30% + 92 × 40% = 97, explained in the article on the score. Seven action-led lines, four of them measurable, seven lines of depth, and 178 readable words against a band opening at 250.

Trips, meetings, directors and staff are units the evidence rule reads, which is why a discreet page can still be a measured one. The ATS checker shows which lines it counted on your own document.

What this example leaves off

No principal's name, no board member names, no meeting subjects and no travel destinations. On this job, what is left off the page is part of the evidence, and a hiring board notices immediately.

Personal errands are left off as well. They are often a real part of the role and they are not what the next employer is buying, and listing them moves a senior application towards a junior reading of the job.

What to change for your own

Change the principal. Supporting a founder, a hospital director, a head teacher or a partnership are different jobs with the same shape. Then put in your own diary scope, travel volume, board work and any commercial result you can name.

Keep the languages with levels; the guide on languages covers which levels to use. The design gallery holds 37 layouts, and the office manager example, the recruiter example and the supply chain manager example sit beside this one.

Questions

Is Aurelio Pemberton-Nkosi a real person
No. He is invented for this page, and so are Rheinblick Holdings and Aarstrand Partners. The figures show a shape and describe nobody.
How is discretion shown on a page
By what is left off it. The example names no director, no deal and no meeting subject, and still describes eleven years of work precisely. That restraint is itself the evidence.
What is the strongest executive assistant line
Board support. Eight board meetings a year with papers for eleven directors is a level of trust that separates an executive assistant from a personal assistant, and it is checkable.
What did the checker score it
97 out of 100, with one improvement remaining worth 8 points. The document has 178 readable words, and the volume rule's top band opens at 250.
Are travel savings worth mentioning
Yes. Seventeen per cent off travel spend after three agreements were renegotiated is a commercial result, and it is the sort of thing a chief operating officer reads with interest.
Which design is this rendered in
Imprint, one of the 21 ATS-safe layouts out of 37. It is formal without a sidebar, which suits a page that will be read by a board-level hiring manager.

Conxfolio is a free set of four career tools: a résumé builder with 37 rendered layouts, an ATS résumé checker that prints its own arithmetic, a cover letter builder that traces every proof paragraph back to the line it came from, and a portfolio builder with 20 authored designs. There is no account to create, nothing is held back for a paid plan, and no language model is used anywhere in the product, so the readers, the score and the letter are deterministic code you can check.
